Hutchins was shot at the age of 42,  when a prop gun went off during rehearsals on the set of the  ‘Rust’ in October 2021.

Production was  initially halted in 2021 in the wake of Halyna’s death, but is said to recommence this March with original crew members. In addition, the crew will see new faces, including Halyna’s husband Matthew Hutchins,  as an executive producer and Bianca Cline, who will serve as the new cinematographer.

Joining the production will be safety officers Gary Jensen and Paul Jordan from Tenet Production Safety and production designer Christine Brandt.

The production company said that ‘at Hutchins’ behest and with his blessing and support’ cinematographer Bianca Cline will ‘complete Halyna’s vision for the film’ as well as donating her salary to charity in honour of her.

“Though bittersweet, I am grateful that a brilliant and dedicated new production team joining former cast and crew are committed to completing what Halyna and I started,” director Joel Souza said in a statement.

“My every effort on this film will be devoted to honoring Halyna’s legacy and making her proud. It is a privilege to see this through on her behalf.”

Alec Baldwin is an American actor, comedian, and producer.
