The film follows detective Danny Rourke as he searches for his missing daughter and gets mixed up in a secret government program that involves reality-altering crimes. Directed by Niki Caro, The Mother stars Jennifer Lopez as a hardened assassin who leaves the safety of her Alaskan hideout to protect the daughter she had to leave behind at birth.
The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid finally gets the live-action treatment, with Halle Bailey playing the titular character. Directed by Rob Marshall, the film promises to be a visually stunning reimagining of the classic 1989 Disney animated film. Melissa McCarthy and Javier Bardem also star in the film.
