Saint Obi: Family Responds To Zik Zulu Okafor’s Allegations

In a heartfelt response to recent allegations made by Zik Zulu Okafor, the family of the late Mr. Obinna Nwafor, popularly known as Saint Obi, has issued a statement denouncing the negative portrayal of their son’s widow and refuting the claims surrounding the circumstances of his passing.

The statement, released on Thursday, May 18th, 2023, provides insight into the family’s perspective and seeks to set the record straight regarding the events surrounding Saint Obi’s life and death.

The family’s attention was drawn to a publication by Mr. Zik Zulu Okafor, which not only discussed the death of Saint Obi but also presented a defamatory portrayal of his widow in various media outlets.

The family vehemently denies the accuracy of this depiction, asserting that it in no way aligns with “the Lynda they knew and had a close relationship with”. They consider it an unfair and unjust representation.

The Nwafor family regards Mr. Okafor’s article as a deeply saddening and unfortunate development. They emphasize that neither they nor any member of the family were consulted during its creation, and it was not authored with their consent or authority. Consequently, they wish to disassociate themselves entirely from the publication.
