During a recent interview with Dotty Show on Apple Music, Tiwa Savage shared her exciting plans for her upcoming album, expressing her desire to revisit her first love: traditional R&B.

“My next project is going to be R&B, my first love. It’s not R&B Afrobeats but R&B,” Tiwa Savage enthusiastically declared, sparking a wave of anticipation among her fans.

While eagerly awaiting the release of her next album, Tiwa Savage plans to treat her listeners to a series of carefully crafted singles. This strategic approach allows her to refine her artistic vision and deliver an unforgettable experience with her upcoming album.

In addition to her musical endeavours, Tiwa Savage is set to make history as the first female Afrobeats artist to headline the illustrious 13,000-capacity OVO Wembley Arena.

Her groundbreaking performance at the arena marks another milestone in her career, solidifying her status as a trailblazer and a force to be reckoned with.

The year 2023 has already been monumental for Tiwa Savage, with her hit single “Stamina” securing a spot in Prime Business Africa (PBA)  Top 10 Songs for the first half of the year.

Furthermore, her guest appearances on Spyro’s chart-topping record “Who’s Your Guy” have only added to her impressive list of accomplishments. Additionally, Tiwa Savage etched her name in history books through her awe-inspiring performance at King Charles III’s Coronation ceremony, leaving audiences in awe of her unparalleled talent.

Tiwa Savage’s last project, the ‘Water & Garri’ EP, released in 2021, featured the sensational hit single “Somebody’s Son” featuring Brandy.
