Police Arrest 4 Suspects Over Alleged Tiwa Savage Abduction

The Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation Department in Lagos has arrested some individuals in connection with an alleged attempt to kidnap popular Nigerian musician Tiwa Savage.

The failed plot was reportedly planned by Savage’s new domestic staff, who had been entrusted with vital information about her movements.

According to reports, the domestic staff had been trailing the singer and shared the information with other members of the alleged kidnapping gang.

However, the plot was foiled by the musician’s private security team and the swift action of the police. The suspects are now in police custody, with further investigations ongoing.

Tiwa Savage confirmed via her Instagram account that her residential home had been breached by thieves, but the quick response of her security team and the police prevented any harm to her and her family.

The news of the attempted kidnapping has come as a relief to her millions of fans, who have been following her music for over a decade.

Several celebrities including Dorathy Bachor, Toyin Abraham, Manny Monie, amongst others, have expressed safety concerns towards the singer.
