Just a few weeks after expressing her unwavering determination to chase down the prestigious Guinness World Record, Maliha Mohammed, a highly acclaimed chef from Kenya, has achieved an impressive and unofficial feat by surpassing the existing record set by Hilda Baci.

Renowned for her culinary prowess and having already demolished a Guinness World Record back in 2019, Maliha Mohammed took to social media to joyously celebrate her latest remarkable accomplishment.

Hilda Baci’s official recognition as the holder of the “Longest Individual Cooking Duration” by Guinness World Records in June 2023 seemed unassailable.

However, in just under two months, Maliha Mohammed has managed to shatter this record with her remarkable achievement.

On August 11, Chef Maliha Mohammed embarked on a culinary marathon that saw her cooking tirelessly for an astonishing 95 hours.

The announcement of her groundbreaking accomplishment was made through a distinctive flyer shared on her Instagram page, confidently proclaiming, “NEW WORLD RECORD.”

The support Maliha received from her family, friends, and dedicated fans was unwavering throughout her marathon feat. Online videos circulated, capturing the exhilaration of her supporters erupting into cheers and applause as she switched off the gas upon completion of her record-breaking endeavour.

Displaying her mastery in preparing a diverse range of global cuisines, Maliha deftly whipped up lavish dishes during her lengthy spectacle.

Her determination was further fueled by uplifting messages from renowned celebrities, infusing her achievement with an extra dose of zest.

It’s worth noting that Maliha Mohammed had successfully completed two cook-a-thon trials before embarking on her latest cooking marathon. Although her new record has yet to be officially recognized by Guinness World Records, her accomplishment stands as a testament to her dedication, skill, and passion for the culinary arts
