Achraf Hakimi: Between His Wife And Mother

Achraf Hakimi, a Moroccan and Paris St-Germain footballer, has been making headlines worldwide after his wife discovered that he owns nothing despite being a successful sportsman who earns millions of euros.

The footballer’s wife, Hiba Abouk, requested a divorce and requested a 50/50 split of their assets. During the court session, it was revealed that Hakimi had nothing in his name.

Hiba was shocked to discover that her 24-year-old husband had put all of his assets and funds in his mother’s name, and that he frequently asked her to purchase items for him.

According to reports, millions of dollars of Hakimi’s pay were deposited in accounts with his mother’s name on them, along with all of his homes, cars, clothes, and jewelry. In fact, his mother’s name is on the title of 80% of everything he owns.

Hakimi and Hiba started dating in 2018, got married in 2020, and have two children together. However, Hiba filed for divorce in March 2023 after accusing Hakimi of cheating.

The fact that Hakimi was also under investigation in Paris, France, for alleged rape added to the strain on their marriage.

Hakimi’s decision to protect his riches by not having them registered in his name has sparked international attention, with some even calling him “wise” and a “living legend.”  However, it has also raised questions about the legality and ethics of such actions.
