This is the first time I’ve said anything about it, actually. It’s a documentary—a docu-series about my life, called ‘David.’ I shouldn’t be talking about this, but yeah.”

As anticipation builds, fans can expect never-before-seen footage and private glimpses into the singer’s life, making this docuseries a must-watch.

This announcement comes on the heels of Davido’s recent album release, ‘Timeless,’ which has been shattering records across various streaming platforms.

Within a mere 24 hours of its debut, the album surpassed the previous record for the highest number of streams in a debut week on Spotify Nigeria.

The 17-track album quickly gained traction and became the most streamed album in a week on platforms such as Boomplay, Apple Music Africa, Audiomack Global, and Spotify Nigeria. With these remarkable achievements, Davido further cements his status as a global hitmaker.

Joining the ranks of esteemed celebrities with their own docuseries on Netflix, such as Pamela Anderson, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Marilyn Monroe, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, and Travis Scott, Davido’s presence reinforces his influential position in the entertainment industry.

Fans and viewers alike eagerly await the arrival of ‘David’ on Netflix, where they will be immersed in an extraordinary journey through the life and experiences of one of Africa’s most celebrated music icons.
