‘You’ Season 5: What To Expect

It has been a month since the fourth season of Netflix’s hit series ‘You’ came to a dramatic conclusion, leaving viewers reeling with shock and anticipation for what’s to come.

The finale marked a significant shift in the show’s pace, as Joe Goldberg’s character, played by Penn Badgley, was finally exposed as the predatory mass murderer he truly is, rather than the anti-hero many viewers had previously perceived him to be.

After the season’s release, Netflix confirmed the series’s renewal for a fifth installment, which will take place in New York City, where the show’s story began.

The season finale saw Joe’s London persona, Professor Jonathan Moore, disappear, and audiences witnessed him struggle with the guilt of his crimes. But his acceptance of a figment of his imagination, Rhys, as a way of separating himself from his actions, marked a turning point for his character.

Joe is now an innocent man once again, thanks to the billionaire heiress Kate, who has bought his story and allowed him to go free. As a result, Joe has the power to do whatever he wants without consequence, setting the scene for a season five that promises to be a complete change of pace.

Previously, the show has been told from Joe’s point of view, with the character often justifying his actions and appearing to feel guilty for some of his choices.

However, season five may change this perspective, offering a first-hand insight into the real thoughts that go through his head when hunting down a victim. Additionally, with Nadia and Marienne still alive, there is hope that Joe’s mask will be lifted for good.

The news of the show’s renewal has generated considerable excitement among fans, who are eagerly anticipating what’s in store for Joe Goldberg.

While there’s no news yet on the show’s release date, You season four is available to stream now on Netflix. Stay tuned to Prime Bushiness Africa for further updates on season five.
