The split became apparent as fans noticed Joe’s absence in the photos from Sophia’s recent birthday celebration in Italy.

Furthermore, the actress was seen without her wedding ring, fueling speculation about the state of their relationship. Their last public appearance together was a month prior when Sophia visited Joe on the set of his new project, “Nonnas,” in Hoboken, N.J.

The doubts surrounding their marriage escalated when Joe’s birthday message to Sophia seemed plain and detached, lacking the warmth typically associated with spousal greetings.

Fans couldn’t help but notice the seemingly distant felicitation, further adding to the speculation. The couple’s love story began in 2014 when Joe met Sophia through her former co-star at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner.

After a romantic sunset proposal on Christmas Eve that same year, they got engaged. They tied the knot in Palm Beach in November 2015, with a lavish wedding attended by approximately 4000 guests.

According to reports from Page Six, their split was attributed to their personality differences, a surprising revelation given that these differences initially brought them together. Currently, Sophia and Joe are taking time apart and do not have any children together.
