The reality star took to his Instagram story to share the harrowing experience with his fans, accompanied by a photograph of his once sleek black Mercedes, now mangled at the front grill.
In the Instagram post, Hermez expressed his profound gratitude to the Almighty for sparing his life, captioning the photo, “Bless God for life and safety.”

Worried supporters flooded his social media, sending an outpouring of prayers and well-wishes. In response, Hermez uploaded a video to address their concerns, assuring everyone that he was physically unharmed, and miraculously, so were all the individuals involved in the accident.
Speaking to his followers, he said, “I know a lot of you have been checking up on me since I posted on my story. I was involved in an accident yesterday, and everyone came out of it safe.
So there is nothing to worry about.” Although he admitted to still experiencing some side effects from the terrifying encounter, he firmly stated that he was okay and on the road to recovery.
Throughout the video, the emotional weight of the incident was evident on his face, demonstrating just how frightening the experience had been. Hermez concluded the video by expressing his deep gratitude to his supporters, acknowledging that their care and concern meant the world to him during such a challenging time.

The state government had commenced the demolition of homes and houses in the locality, and Hermez, who himself had once resided there before finding fame as a member of the Big Brother Naija cast in 2022, was passionate about advocating for the affected community.
