BREAKING: Tinubu Sworn In As President

President-elect Bola Tinubu and Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima took their oaths of office on Monday, officially assuming their roles as the President and Vice President of Nigeria. The momentous occasion was marked by the administration of the Oath of Office by Chief Justice of Nigeria, Kayode Ariwoola.

Tinubu emerged victorious in the presidential election held in February 2023, as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission. The All Progressives Congress candidate garnered an impressive total of 8,794,726 votes, securing a decisive win over his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party. Abubakar received a commendable 6,984,520 votes.

Meanwhile, Peter Obi of the Labour Party claimed the third position with a respectable total of 6,101,533 votes. Rabiu Kwankwaso of the NNPP secured fourth place with 1,496,687 votes.
