Nollywood Loses Veteran Actor Adewale Adeyemo

The entertainment industry and fans are in mourning as renowned Yoruba actor, Prince Adewale Adeyemo, has tragically passed away. This marks the fourth loss of a Nollywood actor this month, leaving a deep void in the hearts of many.

In the early hours of Monday, May 22, the veteran actor took his last breath after battling a brief illness. The news of his passing was shared with the public by Kunle Afod, a fellow actor and close associate of the deceased.

Taking to his Instagram page, Afod shared the heart-wrenching update along with a poignant photograph of the departed artist. In his heartfelt post, he expressed his sorrow, saying, “Hmmmm God, you know best. RIP Prince Adewale Adeyemo.

He passed away this morning after a brief illness. May God provide comfort to his family, friends, and colleagues during this trying time.”

This devastating news comes shortly after the losses of two other notable figures in the Nollywood industry, Saint Obi and Murphy Afolabi.

The Yoruba movie industry recently came together to pay homage to the late Murphy Afolabi, who sadly departed on May 14, 2023. The industry’s night of tribute served as a heartfelt remembrance of Afolabi’s contributions and the significant impact he made in the field.
