The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, is set to welcome his sixth wife, Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda, in a grand ceremony that promises to be a momentous occasion.

The royal event, scheduled for May 20th, 2023, is set to witness the official induction of the new queen into the esteemed Royal Palace of Oodua in Ile-Ife.

In an exciting development, the highly revered Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has introduced his latest wife, Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda, to the world.

This momentous occasion marks the king’s sixth marriage and will be commemorated with a grand celebration, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Yoruba people.

The event is slated for Saturday, May 20th, 2023, and is expected to attract esteemed dignitaries from far and wide. Invitations for the Thanksgiving service and the subsequent reception have already been sent out, ensuring that esteemed guests will grace this joyous occasion.

The festivities will commence with the traditional entry of the Queen into the historic Ife Oodua Palace of Ile-Ife on Thursday.

This ceremonial procession will be a glamourous event, capturing the essence of the ancient traditions and customs that have been preserved throughout generations.

The wedding ceremony between Oba Enitan Adeyeye and Olori Akinmuda was solemnized on May 10th, 2023, signifying a significant union between the Ooni and his new bride.

It is worth noting that the king already maintains marital ties with five other women, namely Olori Mariam, Olori Tobi Phillips Ogunwusi, Princess Ashley Adegoke, Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, and Temitope Adesegun.
