‘He Healed My Mother Of Gunshot Wound’- Singer Victor AD Defends TB Joshua

In the wake of the controversial BBC documentary alleging misconduct by the late Pastor TB Joshua, Nigerian singer Victor “AD” Adere has come forward to defend the renowned prophet.

Dismissing the claims made by former church members, Victor attested to the authenticity of TB Joshua’s divine calling and the positive impact he had on his own life and family.

Victor, mostly known for his hit song “Wetin We Gain,” took to social media to share his personal experiences with the late pastor. He began by recounting how TB Joshua played a pivotal role in healing him from a skin disease at the young age of six.

Additionally, he credited the prophet with saving his mother from a potential hand amputation after she sustained a gunshot wound, and he highlighted the miraculous healing of his sister’s blindness during her primary school days.

“Prophet TB Joshua fake ke?” Victor questioned, passionately defending the man he believed had genuinely impacted his life. “So many wonderful deeds!! Which of these are fake or staged?” he added, emphasizing the numerous instances where TB Joshua had positively intervened in his family’s life.

Victor AD also disclosed that TB Joshua had provided shelter and sustenance for his family when they were homeless. To further back up his defense, an old video from 2021 resurfaced, featuring Victor AD discussing the efficacy of an “anointed water” provided by TB Joshua. In the video, the singer, engaged in a video call with his mother, demonstrated the use of the anointed water, leading to the instantaneous restoration of movement in her affected hand.

The controversy surrounding TB Joshua and the Synagogue Church of all Nations escalated in January 2024, when former church members labeled it as a “cult” and accused the late pastor of various heinous acts, including r@pe, forced abortions, and child abuse. The allegations were unveiled in a three-part BBC documentary, sparking a widespread debate.
