Six of Mohbad’s songs have found their place on the TurnTable Top 100, a testament to the enduring appeal of his music. His EPs, ‘Blessed’ and ‘Light,’ are amassing staggering streaming numbers, with his single ‘Ask About Me’ ascending to the coveted No. 1 spot on the chart.

This resurgence isn’t limited to Nigeria alone; it has transcended borders. Tributes have been pouring in from around the world, with American rap luminaries Meek Mill, Lil Durk, and Kodak Black paying their respects to the late artist.

In Nigeria, candlelight processions were held in various states to honor Mohbad’s memory. The Lagos procession, held at the Muri Okunola Park, witnessed the presence of fellow artists like Davido, Zlatan, Chike, Skales, and Falz, who came together to celebrate the life and artistry of a rising star gone too soon.
