Darius Jackson, former partner of actress, Keke Palmer, has filed for a restraining order against her, alleging a cases of abuse during their two-year relationship.
The legal saga takes an unexpected turn as Jackson counters Palmer’s previous abuse claims, painting a picture of a tumultuous relationship marred by alleged verbal and physical aggression.
Join our WhatsApp ChannelThe 29-year-old fitness instructor claims in the court documents obtained by Page Six that Palmer, with whom he shares a 9-month-old son named Leodis, was both verbally and physically abusive during their time together.
Among the incidents detailed, an August 2021 birthday party stands out, where Jackson alleges that Palmer, described as “agitated and aggressive,” punched him in the face. According to Jackson, a friend present, Lenoria Addison, attempted to intervene and prevent Palmer from hitting him.
To support his claims, Jackson attaches screenshots of alleged text messages from Palmer, where she apologizes for the physical altercation, saying, “I am sorry for hitting you.”
In another distressing incident from October 2021, Jackson asserts that Palmer violently gripped his arm and insisted he stay with her instead of going to a nearby restaurant to watch a football game.
Texts and images of marks on Jackson’s arm are presented as evidence, along with alleged texts from Palmer declaring the end of their relationship and labeling him “childish.”

Further complicating the narrative, Jackson recounts a March 2023 incident where Palmer, he claims, had been drinking alcohol and directed blame at him for a bathroom drainage issue.
Jackson alleges that Palmer, during their two-year relationship, verbally abused him, using derogatory terms such as “bitch,” “punk ass,” and “loser.”
According to court documents, Jackson and Palmer officially ended their relationship in early October 2023. Post-breakup, Jackson claims that when he visited Palmer’s home to pick up their son, Leodis, he found the child missing.
In an attempt to inquire about the child’s whereabouts, Jackson alleges a confrontation with Palmer and her mother, Sharon Palmer, who he recorded making threats and directing profanities at him. A transcript of this recorded conversation is included as evidence, wherein Sharon Palmer refers to Jackson as a “punk” and accuses his family of having “mental problems.”
Page Six reached out to Palmer’s representative for comment, but as of now, there has been no response. This recent filing from Jackson comes after Palmer was granted a temporary restraining order against him, alleging physical abuse.
The order mandates Jackson to stay at least 100 yards away from Palmer and Leodis. Palmer was also granted temporary sole physical and legal custody of their infant son, with no visitation rights for Jackson.
