Actress Keke Palmer has taken legal action against her ex-boyfriend, Darius Jackson, who also happens to be the father of her son. The legal documents, unfold a distressing two-year narrative of alleged physical violence and emotional abuse that has led Palmer to file a restraining order against Jackson.

Renowned for her roles in films and television, Palmer cites “physical and emotional abuse” as the pivotal factors that led to the deterioration of their relationship, reaching a breaking point in October. Simultaneously, she has filed for sole legal and physical custody of their son, Leodis.

The court documents paint a vivid picture of disturbing behaviour exhibited by Jackson. Palmer accuses him of not only destroying her personal belongings, including diaries and prescription eyeglasses but also engaging in aggressive acts such as throwing her possessions into the street and preventing her from leaving by seizing her car keys. Shockingly, the abuse allegedly extended to physical altercations occurring in the presence of their son.

The gravity of the situation intensifies as Palmer details instances of Jackson threatening self-harm with a firearm if she were to leave him.

The legal filing further includes accusations of harassment and additional instances of emotional abuse. Keke Palmer’s decision to seek legal protection has sparked a wave of support on social media, with calls for accountability and justice echoing across online platforms.

The public stands united in rallying behind Palmer as she seeks legal recourse for the alleged actions of Darius Jackson.

Recent reports from Radar Online indicate that Palmer has been granted temporary sole custody of their son, Leodis “Leo” Andrellton Jackson, as of Friday, November 10, 2023. The court has also mandated that Jackson surrender his guns and firearms to the police within the next 124 hours, where they will be stored until the case is closed.

As part of the temporary restraining order, Jackson is required to stay 100 yards away from Palmer and their son and currently has no visitation rights. A court hearing has been scheduled for December to determine the permanent custody arrangements for Leo, setting the stage for a legal battle that will shape the future of their family.
