Actor Amaechi Muonagor Seeks Financial Support For Kidney Transplant

After enduring partial paralysis since November 2023, Amaechi Muonagor now calls for financial aid to undergo a kidney transplant in India,in a now viral video on Monday, March 18, 2024.

In the video, Muonagor is seen laying till on a hospital bed, as fellow actor Kingsley Orji sits beside him,pleading for support on his behalf. He articulated the challenging journey Muonagor has endured, emphasizing the pressing need for assistance to facilitate the crucial medical procedure abroad.

“It has not been easy,” Orji expressed. “He has been in this condition for months now. He wants to go for a kidney transplant. What we want is for you to help us for him to travel to India.” Orji also shed light on Muonagor’s deteriorating health, revealing the distressing impact on his ability to communicate effectively. “He barely talks well. Please, he needs your help,” Orji implored.

Muonagor’s health struggles began in  early November 2023 when he disclosed his diagnosis of kidney failure, compounded by a debilitating stroke that left him partially paralyzed.

“I’m calling on well-minded individuals to come to my assistance,” Muonagor pleaded. “It is paralysis, half of my body. Right now, I can’t move, I can’t walk on my own.” His  words underscored the gravity of his situation, emphasizing the urgent need for intervention to alleviate his suffering and facilitate his journey towards recovery.
