Currently standing as the highest-grossing movie of the entire year 2023, “A Tribe Called Judah” has captivated audiences with its compelling storyline and exceptional production quality, gaining widespread acclaim and securing a firm spot in the hearts of moviegoers across the nation.

The film, starring Omowunmi Dada and Tayo Faniran, navigates a cross-cultural love story, weaving through challenges arising from opposing family dynamics. Despite facing tough competition, “Ada Omo Daddy” continues to maintain its presence in cinemas, captivating audiences nationwide.

Beyond “A Tribe Called Judah” and “Ada Omo Daddy,” other cinematic gems have emerged as record-breakers. Toyin Abraham’s “Malaika,” released on December 22, 2023, swiftly amassed a gross of ₦104.3 million within just eight days.

Addressing the sensitive topic of infertility in the country, the film achieved the industry’s second-highest opening weekend gross, reaching ₦52 million.
