Ilebaye Odiniya, famously known as the Gen Z Baddie and the winner of Big Brother Naija season 8 All-Star edition, has confirmed the receipt of her grand prize of N120 million from the reality show organisers.

The confirmation came during an Instagram live session with her fans, where Ilebaye addressed the issue directly. With a beaming smile, she shared that not only had she received the full prize money, but she hadn’t even touched it yet. “My money hasn’t finished. I haven’t touched my prize money. And this is a fact,” she said.

This announcement follows recent concerns raised by the winner of BBNaija season 7, Phyna, who voiced her frustrations over the delayed receipt of her N100 million prize from the 2022 edition. Phyna’s outcry sparked discussions on social media platforms, prompting the organisers to address the matter promptly.

The prize presentation ceremony, where Ilebaye was awarded her winnings, was attended by esteemed individuals including Oluwakemi Adedeji, Marketing Communications Manager at HFM, and Dr Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content & West Africa Channels at MultiChoice West Africa.
