Diddy Makes Excuse For Assaulting Ex-Girlfriend

Renowned music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs finds himself in a second assault lawsuit within weeks, as a woman named Joi Dickerson-Neal accuses him of drugging and s3xually assaulting her. She also claimed to be a victim of revenge p0rn orchestrated by the music artist.

The civil suit, filed under the New York Adult Survivors Act, not only targets Combs but also includes his affiliated companies, such as Bad Boy Entertainment.

Joi Dickerson-Neal, a Syracuse University student in 1991, alleges that Combs drugged and s3xually assaulted her during a dinner in Harlem. The lawsuit claims that Combs intentionally incapacitated her, making her unable to stand or walk independently.

The suit further alleges that she was coerced into smoking a “blunt” in Combs’ car, leading to a state of incomplete memory. Dickerson-Neal contends that Combs s3xually assaulted her at a music studio, recording the act, and later distributing the video.

The lawsuit reveals the profound impact of the alleged assault on Dickerson-Neal’s life. She discovered the existence of the video when a friend informed her that he had seen it, leading to severe emotional distress, hospitalization for depression, and suicidal ideation.

Despite these challenges, Dickerson-Neal continued working in the music industry, attempting to establish herself as a location scout. However, the suit suggests that the fear of retaliation from Combs and the industry’s stakeholders hindered witnesses from supporting her claims.

The legal proceedings against Combs come at a time when he faces a barrage of accusations from high-profile figures, including his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. Ventura accused Combs of years of s3xual abuse, r@pe, and trafficking, a case Combs stated was resolved amicably within a day of filing.

Diddy’s Response

Combs’ representative maintained that the resolution did not constitute an admission of wrongdoing and did not undermine his denial of the claims.

A spokesperson for Combs vehemently denies the allegations, dismissing them as fabricated and lacking credibility.

The defense claims that this last-minute lawsuit is an example of misusing well-intentioned laws for financial gain. They argue that Combs did not assault Dickerson-Neal and question the validity of implicating companies that did not exist at the time of the alleged incident.
