FG172035S1 and UNIVINSURE have emerged as biggest equity gainers on the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Friday.

At the close of business on Friday July 23, 2021, FG172035S1 closing price was N114.31 as against N100.00 on Thursday, gaining N14.00 which resulted in a change of 14.31% to top gainers chart, with UNIVINSURE following at second position by closing N0.22 as against N0.20 on Thursday, gaining N0.02, a change of 10.00%.

Other companies that appeared among the top ten on the gainers list include OANDO, TOTAL, CUTIX, GUINNESS, UNILEVER, FTNCOCOA, UCAP and UNITYBNK.

Topping the equity losers chart were UPL and CHAMPION. While UPL closed on Friday with price of N1.41 against N1.55 on Thursday with a -N0.14 loss which is a change of -9.03% to lead the table, CHAMPION closed with N2.05 on Friday against N2.25 on Thursday with a -N0.20 loss and change of -8.89% to come second on the equity losers chart.

Joining UPL and Champion on the top ten of the equity losers chart were REDSTAREX, INTBREW, NAHCO, PRESTIGE, REGALINS, JAPAULGOLD, WAPIC and CHIPLC.
