Yoruba Nation Agitator Sunday Igboho Reportedly Arrested In Cotonou

The Yoruba nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho has been arrested in Cotonou, Benin Republic.

According to media reports,  Igboho was nabbed by security forces in Benin Republic at an airport in Cotonou on Monday night.

Recall that the freedom fighter was recently declared wanted by the Department of State Services (DSS) over alleged stockpiling of arms, an allegation he has since denied.

It was gathered that Igboho intended to fly out to Germany through the West African neighbouring country before he was intercepted.
