Radio Kogi Vehicle Plunges Into Ditch On Mount Patti

An operational vehicle belonging to Radio Kogi in the early hours of Tuesday, October 14, 2025 plunged into a ditch from Mount Patti hills in Lokoja.

The driver whose identity was not immediately known was said to have taken engineering crew members up for the morning transmission and on his way back, the vehicle experienced a break failure.

The Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation, NTA Lokoja and other entities are located on mount patti hill which is about 1500 feet above see level, according to the NTA report of the incident.

The driver survived and was reportedly  taken to the Kogi Specialist Hospital for treatment.
