Chinedu was said to have turned himself in upon learning of his father’s arrest.

Senator Orji and his sons, Chinedu and Ogbonna, are under investigation by the EFCC for misappropriation of public funds and money laundering amounting to N551bn.

The ex- governor was accused of embezzling the N500m monthly security vote he received for eight years as the governor of Abia state between 2007 and 2015.
