Tecno Unveils New Smartphone And Laptop At MWC 2023

Tecno, a popular Chinese smartphone and electronics company, has announced two new products alongside its first-ever foldable smartphone, the Phantom V Fold, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023.

The company showcased the Tecno Spark 10 Pro, a mid-range smartphone, and an upgraded version of its laptop, the MegaBook S1.

Tecno Spark 10 Pro, a Selfie-Focused Smartphone

Tecno Spark 10 Pro is set to debut in March as a selfie-focused smartphone with a 32-megapixel ultra-clear front camera. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC and will pack a dual flashlight to accompany its front camera.

It also features a 50-megapixel main rear camera, which promises great photography experiences for users. Additionally, the phone boasts a starry glass back panel with a glossy finish, adding to its aesthetic appeal.

According to a report by Gizmochina, Tecno has given a sneak peek into the smartphone’s specifications. The device will feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels.

The phone will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. It will also run on Android 12 out-of-the-box, and its battery capacity is 5,000mAh.

MegaBook S1 2023: An Upgraded Version of the Laptop

Tecno also unveiled an upgraded version of its laptop, the MegaBook S1 2023, at the MWC 2023. The new laptop comes with the latest 13th-gen Intel Core processor and features PC SwiftTransfer through hand gestures.

The company’s new generation OneLeap connection allows users to share data, manage files, use multi-screen, and share reverse networks across its digital ecosystem.

Apart from these advanced features, the device carries most of the specs from the MegaBook S1 that was launched back in December 2022. The MegaBook S1 2023 weighs 1.35kg and has a thickness of 13.5mm. The device was launched with a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU and Windows 11 out-of-the-box.

The MegaBook S1 features a 15.6-inch display with a 3.2K resolution, a 16:10 widescreen aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen also offers up to 450 nits of maximum brightness and supports 100 per cent coverage of the sRGB colour gamut.
