Kemi Omotosho has officially taken the reins as Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria, marking a new chapter for the pay-TV giant as it navigates rising competition, digital disruption, and shifting consumer expectations.
She succeeds John Ugbe, who is retiring after nearly 15 years at the helm, leaving behind a legacy of expanding MultiChoice’s subscriber base and consolidating its market leadership in Nigeria, Prime Business Africa reports.
With over 20 years of experience across media, telecommunications, and digital businesses in Africa, Omotosho brings a track record of transforming customer engagement and operational performance. She previously led customer value management in Nigeria, supervised strategies across more than 50 African markets, and most recently managed Southern Africa’s seven-country operations, overseeing full profit-and-loss responsibilities.
