March 8, 2026

Nigeria’s largest carrier, Air Peace, has announced the expansion of its regional operations across West Africa with new flight schedules set to take effect on April 1, 2026, Prime Business Africa reports.

The airline said the development is part of its broader strategy to strengthen regional connectivity, facilitate trade, and provide passengers with improved travel options within the sub-region.

Under the revised schedule, the carrier will enhance connections between major West African cities including Lagos, Abidjan, Dakar, Banjul, Accra, Monrovia and Freetown.

According to the airline, flights on the Lagos–Abidjan–Dakar–Banjul route will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The service will depart Lagos at 7:00 a.m., arriving in Abidjan at 7:50 a.m., before continuing to Dakar and Banjul. The return leg will follow the same corridor back to Lagos.

Another service linking Lagos, Abidjan, and Dakar will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, offering passengers additional options on the busy regional corridor.

Air Peace will also expand operations between Lagos, Accra, and Monrovia, with flights scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The route will depart Lagos at 8:00 a.m., arriving in Accra shortly after before continuing onward to Monrovia.

In addition, a Lagos–Accra–Freetown service will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, further strengthening connections between Nigeria, Ghana, and Sierra Leone.

The airline said the new schedules are designed to improve travel efficiency across key West African capitals while allowing passengers to connect more easily through its main hub in Lagos.

“Passengers will benefit from greater flexibility and seamless connections across our growing regional network,” the airline said, adding that the expansion aligns with its long-term plan to position Lagos as a major aviation hub linking West and Central Africa to global destinations.

Air Peace also noted that the enhanced services will come with competitive fares and additional baggage allowances aimed at supporting business travel, tourism, and intra-African trade.

The airline encouraged passengers and travel partners to take advantage of the new services, while commercial inquiries and bookings can be made through its sales channels or accredited travel agencies.

Air Peace said it remains committed to delivering safe, reliable, and convenient air travel across Africa and beyond while continuing to expand its regional and international  footprint.
