Just as the English Premier League season for 2024/2025 season kicked off this week, it was time to look back at who did what and who won what last season.
Aside from Manchester City clinching the EPL trophy, individual players in their various departments across the league performed excellently well even if their teams did not win the league. Tuesday August 20, 2024 provided opportunity to showcase winners of various awards last season.

Foden’s outstanding performance, with 19 goals in 35 top-flight appearances, contributed significantly to Manchester City’s historic fourth successive Premier League win. Additionally, at just 23 years old, he became the youngest player to have won six league titles.
This is the first time that Foden has won the PFA Player of the Year award, after winning the Best Young Player twice in the past.
Foden’s remarkable achievements highlight his significant contributions to Manchester City’s success, including his 18 trophies with the club.
On the other hand, Palmer, 22, who joined Chelsea from Manchester City last summer was the Blues’ best player with 22 goals and 11 assists in 33 Premier League games.

In the women’s categories, Manchester City’s Khadija Shaw, secured the Player of the Year award, and Manchester United’s Grace Clinton was honoured as the Young Player of the Year.
