The 16 Housemates left in the Big Brother House have been given eviction soft landing after Biggie announced that there will be no eviction this week.

The announcement is coming as sweet melody to the ears of the housemates, who only last Sunday were asked to henceforth ‘go solo’ as the days of pairing are over for good.

The soft landing is not only a relief for now for the housemates but also an opportunity for viewers to watch and note things about the housemates that can be used for or against them as the solo ride heads towards the finishing line next month.

Viewers will get to see a new side of each housemate and discover their unique traits, interests, and motivations.

Interestingly, housemates have been given the opportunity to plead their case to the viewers for 90 seconds, and prove beyond reasonable doubt why they should remain in the House.

Meanwhile, Onyeka operating for the first time alone emerged Head of House after winning the Weekly HoH Challenge beating other housemates in four hurdles with fastest time of seconds.

Although the feat grants her immunity from nomination for eviction, the immunity appears to be for all for now following Biggie’s announcement that there will be no eviction this week.

Whether she will carry that immunity over or participate in another challenge after the week of grace is still in the belly of Biggie.
