Few hours after she emerged Miss Universe Nigeria, Chidinma Adetshina has been included in the master list of beauty queens ready for the world final billed for 16th November in Mexico.
Primebusiness.africa had noted ahead of the Nigerian edition held on Saturday, where Adetshina emerged victorious, that slots for Cayland Islands, Nigeria and Uruguay were being awaited by organisers of the world event for inclusion into the master list.

It was a dream come true for Adetshina, who was denied the opportunity to go all the way in the Miss Universe South Africa, no thanks to xenophobic attacks. Emerging as Nigeria’s ambassador to the World Miss Universe means that Adetshina will compete with Mia Le Roux who emerged Miss Universe South Africa after Adetshina has been forced to exit the competition in the former Apartheid enclave.
Both ladies will show the stuff they are made of alongside other contestants for the converted crown.
Adetshina, who has since been congratulated by South Africa based media entertainment channel, Africa Fact Zone, said her crown goes beyond just beauty.
“This crown is not just for beauty; it’s a call for unity,” She stated after she was crowned.
How Adetshina Beat The Top Five And The Top Three Hurdles
After the contestants showcased their elegance in evening gowns, the top five finalists were announced: Miss Taraba, Chidimma Adetshina, Miss Anambra Paula Ezendu, Miss Edo Edeifo Brittany, Miss Ondo Ayegbidun Peace Olamide, and Miss Rivers Nyekachi Douglas.

The top three winners were then revealed, with Miss Ondo named Miss Lush, Miss Anambra as the first runner-up and Miss Supranational, and Chidimma Adetshina as the overall winner.
While mouthwatering largesse awaits the eventual winner at the global stage on 16th November, Adetshina will for a start, pocket N10 million in cash along with other prizes for emerging Miss Universe Nigeria.
Apparently impressed by her achievement, an X user, PURE STANLEY @PureStanley1 underscored a lesson to be learnt from Adetshina’s victory on Saturday saying: “Chidinma Vanessa Adetshina’s journey reminds us that no matter the hindrance, our spirit cannot be broken or deterred from accomplishing what we set our mind to. She represents the power and resilience of African women. Congratulations, Queen.”
More contestants are expected to emerge this month as some countries are yet to conclude their own Miss Universe pageant.
