In a viral video that has tickled the fancy of many who have listened to it since the election, Trump said “Our country needs a saviour right now and our country has a saviour that saviour is not me but it is somebody much higher up than me, much higher than me (as he pointed upwards) We just have to do what we have to do, but the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ forever changed the world. It is Impossible to think of the life of our own country without his influence, and his teachings. From Miraculous founding, overcoming civil war and the United States Ultimately becoming a c great nation, we are going to keep it that way. We are not going to let go. But none of this could ever have happened without Jesus Christ and his followers and his Church, none of it. We have to remember that Jesus is the ultimate source of our strength and our hope” he submitted to listeners in a filled massive auditorium.
Recall that Trump’s first term as US President was between 2016 and 2020. However, he failed to win a second straight term after losing to Joe Biden in the 2020 election race.
At 78, he would be the oldest person in US history to be elected president. Joe Biden, who will turn 82 on November 20, is the oldest sitting President.
One man who has gotten massive accolade from Trump since his victory is Tesla and SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk, who did not only support the campaigns by joining the campaign train but also pumping millions of dollars into Trump’s campaign. He practically turned his X social media platform into a Make America Great Again (MAGA) mouthpiece.
“The future is gonna be fantastic,” Musk posted on X as it became apparent that Trump would be returning to the White House.
Musk donated an estimated $132m to Trump and other Republicans in the run-up to the 2024 election, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) last month in its final disclosures before Election Day.

Two of the biggest donations – $43.6m and $75m – went directly into the Trump campaign machine, notably the America PAC (political action committee) established by Musk himself.
Controversially, Musk launched a cash giveaway in key swing states, offering registered voters who agreed to sign a petition supporting the First and Second Amendments of the US Constitution, which respectively protect freedom of speech and the right to keep and bear arms, the chance to win $1m a day.
“We are going to be awarding $1m randomly to people who have signed the petition, every day, from now until the election,” Musk said at a campaign event on October 19.
The move was challenged in a Pennsylvania court after the US Justice Department warned the group could be breaking election laws, which forbid paying people to register to vote. However, judges ruled on Monday that the operation could go ahead after Musk’s lawyers argued that the winners were vetted spokespeople and not randomly chosen.
In line with the U.S. Constitution, Trump will be sworn into office on Jan. 20, 2025. As per the 2025 calendar, Jan 20 will be on a Monday.
