The nonagenarian who has continued to trend following social media re-birth of his 41 year old Gwo Gwo Ngwo classic, had another feather added to his cap Thursday, after Governor of Enugu State His Excellency Peter Mbah announced the re-naming and commissioning of Obinagu road in the Abakpa area of the Coal City state after the him.
Governor Mbah while cutting the tape to mark the event, hailed the contribution of the 92 year old musician and master story teller, adding that it was an honour well deserved.

Accompanied by some of his cabinet members and appreciative crowd, the Governor also paid Mike Ejeagha who was almost moved to tears, a visit after the commissioning.
The Governor did not fail to participate in demonstration dance of the ever trending Gwo Gwo Ngwo dance.
Recall that Gentleman Mike Ejeagha returned with a bang to limelight after skitmaker Brain Jotter re-awakened his 1983 song Onye Isi Oche and Gwo Gwo Ngwo dance posted on his Instagram account on July 5, 2024.
The video did not only go viral but has continued to trend bring the nonagenarian more accolades and fortune, while putting smiles on the faces Nigerians with nostalgic feelings
