Perhaps, that’s the best way to capture the event, as the daughter of Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla, tied the knot with the Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux, at an Islamic ceremony in Dar es Salaam.

The Nikah, Primebusiness.africa understands, was held in Tanzania on Friday and attended by close friends and family, including social media influencer, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platinumz, and his wife.

The ceremony in Tanzania often dubbed the City of Peace, is the first step to planned subsequent celebrations being awaited by fans in Nigeria.

In September 2024, Iyabo Ojo confirmed Priscilla’s engagement to Juma Jux, with photos and videos of the pair circulating online at the time.

The artist had also visited Nigeria to spend time with the thespian’s family, during which he joined Priscilla to embrace the Yoruba culture by donning matching traditional attire for a photo shoot.

Juma Mussa Mkambala, known professionally by his stage name, Jux, who hails from the Singida region of Tanzania combines Afro pop, R&B and Tanzania genre of music, called Bongo Flava.

Award winning Jux released his debut studio album, ‘The Love Album’ in 2019, consisting of a total of 18 songs. To date the album has received more than 1.3 million streams on Boomplay, making it one of the most streamed East African R&B albums up to date. The album’s lead single ‘Sugua’ was a hit, amassing more than 10 million views on YouTube. The album was distributed by Africori the largest digital music distribution company in Sub-Saharan Africa, a partner of Warner Music Group.

While Jux and Priscilla are cruising with their cross-border affair, Grammy Award Winner Burna Boy, has revealed that he and American singer, Chloe Bailey, indeed have something going to the point of sharing a public kiss.

The love birds fuelled romantic relationship rumours during the latter’s visit to Nigeria, as the duo were spotted holding hands while leaving a club in Lagos. Their public outing on Thursday night, in Lagos, has also set the Internet into frenzy.

During the cozy dinner date, Burna Boy presented the American beauty with a luxurious wristwatch and accompanied it with a tender kiss that left fans gushing over them. Fans of the “Sittin’On Top Of The World” exponent believe the latest public show of affection by the lovebirds is official confirmation of romantic relationship.

In an interview with ‘The Breakfast Club,’ Bailey reflected on her visit to Nigeria, saying she had the best time in the country.

She said, “Nigeria was so beautiful. I had the best time. Yes, I was in the club with Burna Boy. The nightlife was so many colours, so many lights, so many cameras.”

When asked whether her outing with Burna Boy was for fun or if they were dating, Bailey responded: “I am a grown woman. I had a great time in Nigeria.”
