Italian publication Gianluca Di Marzio claimed that the Saudi Pro League side is ready to pay Victor Osimhen €30 million for a four-year deal. This will make him one of the highest-paid footballers in Saudi Arabia.

Negotiations between the player’s representatives and the Saudi Arabian club are reportedly underway, with officials from Al Ahli expected to travel to Europe to meet with Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, within the week. Should Osimhen accept the offer, the two clubs will need to reach an agreement on the transfer fee.

Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea are said to be the only known European clubs still strongly interested in signing Victor Osimhen this summer. The two clubs have just three days to seal a deal with Osimhen and Napoli before the summer transfer window closes.

While European clubs have until August 31 before the window closes, the Saudi Pro League, have the advantage of buying players until 6th October, when their window is scheduled to close.

At the beginning of transfer window, scores of clubs were on Osimhen’s suitors list, including Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.

Osimhen who was part of the Nigerian squad that finished as runners up at the last AFCON early this year, in Cote d Ivoire, has been invited to face Republic of Benin and Rwanda on the 7th and 10th September respectively.

With his contract still hanging on the balance, it is left to be seen whether the Napoli talisman will be part of the party in Uyo and Kigali respectively.
