Commissioner of Police, CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, reassured the public of the command’s commitment to rescue the students unharmed. He appealed to residents to remain calm and support ongoing security operations.

The police also warned the school management that they will be investigated for continuing academic activities despite state government directives to close schools in high-risk areas due to ongoing security threats.

SP Wasiu Abiodun, Police Public Relations Officer of Niger State, emphasized that all necessary actions will be taken to prevent further breaches of security directives.

The incident adds to the growing trend of school kidnappings in northern Nigeria, highlighting persistent security challenges in vulnerable communities. Authorities continue to coordinate efforts to locate and safely recover the abducted students.
