Former Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses, has parted ways with EFL Championship side, Luton Town, following their relegation to lower League One.
Moses, who joined The Hatters in July from Spartak Moscow on a free transfer, had hoped bringing his wealth of experience spanning over 17 years would help the club return to the elite division.

This marked a disappointing turn for the club, which dropped from the English Premier League to the Championship the previous summer.
The official announcement from Luton Town confirmed that there would be no contract renewal for Moses, as well as for Netherlands goalkeeper, Tim Krul and several other first-team players.
The club’s statement highlighted the list of departing players, noting, “First team squad players also departing include goalkeepers Tim Krul and Jameson Horlick, as well as winger, Victor Moses, upon the natural expiry of their contracts.

“Josh Bowler is set to return to his parent club, Nottingham Forest, following his brief loan spell, while Kal Naismith’s half-season loan will also come to an end, returning him temporarily to Bristol to complete his contract.”

The statement added, “We would like to thank Kal, Tim, Victor, Jameson, and Josh immensely for their contributions to the club this season, and we wish them well in their future careers.”
Time will tell where Moses will be headed next. The 34-year-old who began his club career first with Crystal Palace youth club then graduating to the senior team.
He later joined Wigan Athletic and then Chelsea in 2012. It was at Chelsea that his unending loan deals began, taking him to six different clubs viz Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham and Turkey league side Fenerbahçe.
The loan journey did not stop there as he also went on loan to Inter Milan and finally to Spartak Moscow initially on loan before permanent deal in 2021.
He made 51 appearances for the Russian club with five goals to his credit before joining Luton Town On 10 September 2024.
The 2013 AFCON Winner made 18 appearances for now relegated Luton Town with a goal to his credit. Coming days will reveal whether Moses who retired from the National team at 27 will settle for another Championship side, and attempt to push them into the elite division.
