Second placed Rivers United, will be guests of Kwara United in Ilorin. Rivers United are equally candidates of CAF Champions league as they currently boasts of 61 points in 36 matches.

Niger Tornadoes, Akwa United, Sunshine Stars and Lobi Stars who are deep into relegation waters will be hoping to at least earn points for possible last minute escape.

The Flying Antelopes host Kastina United in Enugu, while their next door neighbours, Enyimba, are away to Nasarawa United.
The two-time Champions League winners have not been at their best this season, currently 5th on the log, with 55 points in 36 matches.
In other fixtures today, Plateau United host Lobi Stars, Akwa United slug it out with Bayelsa United, Abia host El-Kanemi in a battle of Warriors in Aba, while Bendel Insurance host Heartland who are just a point above relegation zone.
All matches today are to go on simultaneously. Game week 38 and last match of the season is scheduled for May 25 across the country.
Recall that the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) directed a simultaneous Kick-off time of 3pm for all Matchday 37 fixtures.
Chief Operating Officer of the NPFL, Davidson Owumi, said the directive is consistent with the policy of ensuring sporting fairness to all participating clubs.
“After extensive assessment of all the fixtures which impacts the outcome for continental slots and relegation survival, we resolved to set a uniform Kick-off time for all”, Owumi clarified.
