The alumni of Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) listed the numerous infrastructure that citizens provide for themselves which ordinarily should have been the responsibility of the government.

The 52-year-old actor did not stop there as he also urged Nigerians not to relent in prayer as they need it to prevent other challenges beyond their control like  cases of stray bullet, fake doctors, fake nurses, fake drugs among other substandard materials that Nigerians unfortunately still pay for. He ended his submission which “I AM INDEPENDENT” may turn out to be the response to the greeting “Happy Independent” especially as the hardship in the land continues.

He wrote, “I congratulate every Nigerian who, in spite of the cluelessness of government, continues to INDEPENDENTLY provide their own security, healthcare, electricity, light, education, welfare, food, even if na 0-1-0. You Be Your Own Government.

“INDEPENDENT 📌

“For Light:

“I provide my own transformer

“I provide my own electric pole

“I provide my own electric cables

“I provide my own electricity meter

“And even though, these items I provided don’t belong to me, they belong to government, but I still have to cover maintenance costs.

On top of that, I still have to provide my own generator, and buy fuel/diesel at the most ridiculous prices to run my generators, to provide my own electricity.

“For Water:

“I provide my own borehole

“I Provide my own water pipes

“I provide my own water storage tanks

“I provide my own pumping machines

“And still have to buy diesel at ridiculous prices to be able to pump and provide my own water.

“For Security:

“I provide my own house gate

“I provide my own street gate

“I provide my own estate gate

“I provide my own guardsmen to man all these gates

“But still, on top all these, na God hand we dey, make stray bul!et no meet person for outside.

“For Health Care:

“Fake doctors

“Fake nurses

“Fake drugs

“Fake everything

“And we still dey pay

“But prayer still dey work because na only God no why we never kpai finish.

“Education nko?

“Infrastructure nko?

“Development nko?

“Good Governance nko?

“Government Magic. Whether dem like, or dem no like, Na me be my own government.

“I AM INDEPENDENT.”
