There are strong indications that another Davido connected loud in Lagos wedding is about to take place, after Manager of the popular Afro beat star, Asa Asika proposed to his girlfriend, Leona Adesanya.

The engagement ceremony had close friends and family members including Davido and the 30BG crew in attendance.

Asika could not hide his joy as his “Will you marry question” was met with a resounding “yes” from Adesanya, who was immediately mobbed by her friends who from their reactions have been looking forward to the day the question will pop up.

An equally excited big boss, Davido, was caught on camera beaming with pride and excitement as he congratulated his right-hand man.

The Omo Baba Olowo exponent took to his Instagram page to share the heartwarming moment giving a hint of forthcoming wedding as he is sure to support his loyal manager 100%.

Davido, whose wedding to Chioma, at the Eko Hotel and Suites  on June 25, 2024 attracted creme dela creme of the society, hinted of another talk of the town wedding this time for his manager when he wrote on Instagram,“That’s my boy!” adding “we got a BIG wedding to plan.”

Asa Asika is a huge contributor in shaping the careers of top singers like Davido, Naeto C, YQ, and R2Bees.

The 34-year-old 2018 and 2019 City People Music Awards and The Bleatz Awards Artiste Manager of the year winner is sure to have maximum support from Davido, as he flags off the process of walking his heartthrob to the altar.

Asika began his career at Storm 360, working at shows for Obi Asika, when he was 16, until 2012, when his uncle and Olisa Adibua ended their partnership. At Storm 360, he worked with Ikechukwu, ELDee, Sasha P, Naeto C, and became talent manager to YQ, and other clients including R2Bees and Davido.

In 2013, he founded his entertainment management company, StarGaze Management Company, after he split with Davido. In 2014, he signed Naeto C, Boj, a member of the musical group DRB LasGidi, and Ayo Jay, to StarGaze Management Company. In 2016, he founded The Plug Entertainment (aka The Plug), a management firm.

In 2017, he became Davido’s manager again, under The Plug Entertainment and both have continued to enjoy progressive relationship.
