There are strong indications that Osimhen could face disciplinary action from Napoli, as the  manager, Antonio Conte, is known to have zero tolerance for indiscipline in his team.

The incident at the nightclub may result in a fine for the 25-year-old Nigerian striker, according to the Italian publication Corriere dello Sport.

Recall that Osimhen had a running battle with former Super Eagles coach Finidi George to the point of the former Lille ace raining abuses on the coach on social media.

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Peterside Idah was among those who called for him to be punished over the incident to ensure discipline in the national team.

Finidi has since resigned his post as Eagles coach and joined  childhood club, Rivers United, as their new coach ahead of the 2024/2025 NPFL season which kicks off this month.

Osimhen, has been a subject of interest from a lot of clubs missed Napoli’s recent Coppa Italia match, due to uncertainty surrounding his future at the club, with his €130 million release clause, deterring potential suitors.

Napoli Hints Osimhen Not In Plan For New Season

Osimhen, who joined Napoli from Lille for a club record fee of over €70 million, has been a key player for the club, but his future at Napoli seems uncertain as the club’s director indicated that he is not part of their plans for the upcoming season.

Chelsea and Manchester United are clubs that have shown interest in Osimhen at one time on the other. Many describe Osimhen as a very talented player but say he needs to maintain discipline to touch the sky in his career.
