Nigerian Philanthropist and lawyer Gbenga Oyebode, and member Ford Foundation board of trustees, has hosted a welcome dinner in Lagos to honour Darren Walker, President of Ford Foundation who is in Nigeria for a Four-day official visit.

The event celebrated Walker’s achievements in philanthropy and his ongoing commitment to West Africa as well as his love for the Arts.

Held at the Lagos elitist hotspot, Gras Restaurant on Victoria Island, the dinner brought together prominent Nigerians and High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWI) who are making a difference in philanthropy, governance, finance, arts, and education.

Esteemed gusts included Dr. Chichi Aniagolu-Okoye, Regional Director, Ford Foundation Office of West-Africa, Hon. Jamila Ibrahim, Minister of Youth, His Royal Majesty (HRM) Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe, the Obi of Onitsha; His Excellency Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Former Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; His Excellency Godwin Obaseki, Governor of Edo State; business mogul, Fola Adeola; CEO of Juli Pharmacy Plc, Prince Adelusi; and Chairman of Access Bank and Tengen Holdings Limited, Aigboje Aig-Imokhuede.
