General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has advised those thinking he will be joining his Maker anytime soon to perish such thought. This was as he emphasized that “I am not going anywhere yet! Not yet!”.

Prime Business Africa reports that the revered cleric stated this last night during the October Holy Ghost Service at the RCCG Campground. He noted that people were anxious to know what would become of the Church upon his transition into glory.

This is coming on the heels of the installation of Jimmy Odukoya as the Senior Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church Lagos following the demise of his father, Pastor Taiwo, who died on August 7 in the United States at the age of 67.

Adeboye had three years ago revealed that the founder of RCCG, Reverend Josiah Akindayomi, was the destiny helper whom God used to bring him to his place of destiny. Referring to the latter as his father in the Lord, Adeboye asserted that he broke all protocol to make him the General Overseer of the Church.

And in the present, Daddy GO as Adeboye is fondly called, has stated that whoever will eventually succeed him will do greater exploits than he did, telling his congregation that that is part of the good news he has for them.

His words: “You don’t have anything to worry about because where I stop, that’s where you will begin and you’re all going to be greater than I. I know, honestly speaking, one could ask the question, “the way things are going, what’s going to happen when you go?”

“They were asking those questions when My Father in the Lord was alive. Every time we had a convention and everything went well, people will say, “hmm, it’s good now, what’s going to happen when this old man goes?”

“My Father in the Lord will say, “You haven’t seen anything yet. Wait till you see what God will do.” So I want to say like my Father in the Lord used to say, “you haven’t seen anything yet.

“How many of you believe you’re going to be greater than I? Let me hear you shout a big hallelujah!”
