Three men abducted in Nkpologwu community, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, have regained freedom after spending almost four weeks in captivity.
Prime Business Africa gathered that they were released on Friday night.
Join our WhatsApp ChannelThey were reportedly abducted at different locations in the community early Sunday, 11th August 2024 by armed assailants.
The kidnap victims, Adol Ezeoke, Arinze Egenti and Madubuchi Ezeoke, were said to have visited home to attend an event organised by the Nkpologwu Progressive Union (NPU) women win when the unfortunate incident happened.
A source said the kidnappers collected ransom and still kept the victims in captivity for another 12 days before releasing them.
“After the payment of ransom, they still kept them for close to 12 days,” the source said.
