PZ Cussons, UAC Among Losers List As Stock Market Capitalisation Settles At N66trn

Over 397.11 million shares, worth N8.74 billion, were traded in 13,667 deals in the Nigerian stock market on Thursday, 3 April 2025.

At the end of trading, the all-share index (ASI) closed at 105,525.26 points, with the market capitalisation settling at N66.15 trillion.

Top five gainers

Africa Prudental share price increased by N1.40 kobo to rise from N14.35 kobo to N15.75 kobo per share.

Guinea Insurance share value grew by 9.52%, up from N0.63 kobo to N0.69 kobo per share.

Daar Communications ended trading with N0.65 kobo, from N0.60 kobo per share – indicating an increase of 8.33%.

Axa Mansard gained N0.70 kobo to end trading at N9.60 kobo, having opened with N8.90 kobo.

RT Briscoe stock was up by N0.16 kobo, closing with N2.40 kobo from N2.24 kobo per share.

Top five losers

Livestock share price depreciated by N0.80 kobo, dwindling from N8 to N7.20 kobo per share.

PZ Cussons recorded a N3.70 kobo decline in its share price, to end trading at N33.40 kobo, after opening with N37.10 kobo per share.

Mutual Benefit lost N0.10 kobo in its share price after trading hours, to sell at N0.97 kobo from N1.07 per share.

UAC Nigeria reported a decline of N2.95 kobo from the previous day’s share price of N31.95 kobo to end trading at N29 per share.
