Dominican University Education Foundation (DUEF) announces its commitment to advancing the mission of Dominican University Ibadan through its upcoming event, dedicated to supporting the university’s transformative educational initiatives. These initiatives aim to break the cycle of poverty by equipping Nigeria’s youth with access to quality education, character development, and leadership training.

In a statement, the organizers reaffirmed their dedication to empowering the next generation:

“At DUEF, we are unwavering in our commitment to nurturing responsible leaders and active citizens. This mission aligns seamlessly with the values and vision of Dominican University Ibadan, a beacon of hope and progress in Nigeria’s education sector.”

This event represents a significant step forward in ensuring that more young Nigerians have the opportunity to realize their potential, contribute meaningfully to society, and lead lives of purpose and impact.

“ In a time when Nigeria faces challenges of corrupt leadership and disengaged citizenry, DUEF believes that nurturing a well-rounded, educated youth population can catalyze change, create a brighter future, and contribute to a stronger Africa. This event will honor distinguished supporters whose tireless efforts and contributions have made a meaningful impact in advancing our vision.

“Our mission goes beyond traditional academics; it focuses on developing character and leadership qualities, empowering youths to be educated, engaged, and liberated. The path to a renewed Nigeria is paved with our commitment to holistic education and support services. Through scholarship opportunities, skill-building initiatives, conferences, and civic duty workshops, we are creating what we proudly call “YEEL” – Youths who are Educated, Empowered, and Liberated.

“As the Jewish Talmud wisely states, “He who saves a single life saves the whole world.” At this Thanksgiving dinner, you have the opportunity to be a part of this life-changing mission. Together, we can create a ripple effect, touching not just individual lives but transforming entire communities. Your support will ensure that the Dominican mission of quality education continues to grow, providing scholarships, skills training, and resources that equip young Nigerians to rise and make meaningful contributions.

“We invite you to stand with us in this cause and become part of the solution. Celebrate with us, honor the efforts of our supporters, and make a lasting impact on the lives of the youth. Let us gather together with gratitude and hope to drive this remarkable mission forward.”
