Anambra Guber 2025: I’m Confident Of Winning April 5 APC Primaries – Chukwuma

Sir Paul Chukwuma, a leading aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship in Anambra State, has stated that he is confident of winning the party’s primary election on Saturday, 5 April 2025.

Chukwuma, who spoke on Television Continental’s (TVC) current affairs programme, on Tuesday, 25 March 2025, said his optimism stems from the overwhelming support he currently enjoys from the grassroots due to his role in repositioning and strengthening the APC in Anambra over the past three years.

In response to the All Progressives Grand Alliance’s (APGA) dominance in Anambra politics, Chukwuma claimed the political landscape would change on 8 November 2025.

He asserted that the APC is in a strong position to assume control of the state and provide more capable leadership.

He also made a distinction between the security and development issues that Anambra is confronting under Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration and the federal policies of the APC.

He said that the state government had full authority over many of the urgent challenges facing the state because they are local in nature. Chukwuma promised to take decisive action to address Anambra’s ongoing insecurity if elected.

The frontline APC governorship aspirant dismissed claims that government-led initiatives were the cause of Anambra’s outstanding educational performance, attributing the state’s high rankings to mission schools rather than public institutions.

“The Catholic Church and the Anglican Church have been the driving forces behind qualitative education in Anambra, while state-owned schools continue to suffer neglect,” he asserted.

Chukwuma’s audacious remarks demonstrate his resolve to secure the party’s ticket and reshape administration in Anambra State as the APC primary election draws near.
