Breaking: APC NEC Meeting Shifts To Thursday March 17

Authoritative information reaching Prime Business Africa on Wednesday evening indicates that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will now hold its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on Thursday March 17, 2022.

This runs contrary to the original plan stipulating Tuesday, March 15 as the NEC meeting date. The change followed a regular meeting  of the APC CECPC  presided over by the new Chairman and governor of Niger State Abubakar Sani Bello in Abuja on March 8, 2022.

Sources said the change in date is to  ensure that President Muhammadu Buhari, who is currently on a medical trip in London, would be able to participate virtually as the President’s changed.

Recall that Prime Business Africa had exclusively reported that President Buhari would be joining the NEC meeting from London.   The date is no longer Tuesday March 15; the new date is now Thursday March 17, 2022,” a source familiar with the entire arrangement told Prime Business Africa on Wednesday.
