Ex-Eagles Play 'Team Asiwaju' in Lagos novelty match to mark the politician's 70th Birthday on March 20

Prime Business Africa  reports that Ex-Super Eagles stars, Peter Rufai, Kanu Nwankwo, Victor Ikpeba, Julius  Aghahowa, Garba Lawal and Tijani Babangida, are set to storm Lagos on March 20  for the 70th birthday of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the highlight of which will be novelty match with Team Asiwaju.

Personal video recordings by the ex-football stars felicitating with the former Lagos State Governor and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was   sighted by Prime Business Africa on Friday.

Each of the players  expressed readiness to ”storm Lagos on March 20” for  what they said would be a novelty match between ”Team Asiwaju and Ex-Super Eagles Stars.”

They concluded their videos with a ‘Happy Birthday’ message to the politician who said he was determined to run for Nigeria’s President in 2023.

It is believed that the invitation extended to these ex-Super Eagles stars is a major milestone in the build up to his  political campaigns.
